Music plays a pivotal role in the lives of people, from fostering cognitive development and enhancing social skills to providing an exhilarating way to connect and appreciate different traditions and cultures. As Victor Hugo quotes
“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.”
- The music club was the primary catalyst for the creation of an enthralling band and choir. The band had great success within and beyond the school. The band and choir also took an active part in the celebrations of the Carmel Feast and Independence Day.
- The music club organized an inter-house folk singing competition for the students of classes VII to X, and a solo singing competition for classes I to IV, which proved to be a major success.
- The Music club as a whole, inclusive of the school choir, school band, and brass band actively participated in the Annual Sports Day, held at the SERSA Stadium, Kharagpur.
- The Music club plays an exponential role in all activities related to the school ranging from conducting assemblies to bidding farewell to the teachers and students.
- The Music club is also pleased that there has been an increase in the members of the club which has thereby helped to increase the funds generated by the club for the betterment of society.
